Trusting God in the Stretch

So, how's it going for you and yours?  There's been lots of stretching and growth in our house lately.  Kinda fitting since it's Spring!  Our daughter read at her first Lit Night at the local gallery, my husband had his proposal accepted to write a chapter in a book on the future of education, and I'm all stretched out with this endeavor of mine.

I've been learning so many new things and, at times, I'm overwhelmed with the never-ending to-do list.  It's in those times that I double down on trust in the only One who knows exactly where everything is going and how it will all end.  And yes, many times He carries me when I feel so stretched I just might tear something.

It's in those moments that I have to remember what the psalmist wrote:

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.  Psalm 143:8

Each new day is evidence of God's unfailing love, and all of the past struggles prove that I can trust Him again, in this moment.  With so many things piling up and demands from all sides, I can still have peace and trust that God will show me the way I should go.  I can trust my life to Him and he will carry me through.

How about you?  Is this a season of growth and stretching or rest and recovery?  Want a little peace, no matter the season?  Click on the 'Your Gift' button at the top left of the page to receive a Biblical meditation guide on peace.  C'mon...what do you have to lose?
